Kaethe Richter is a documentary style wedding photographer, based out of beautiful New Mexico. Kaethe received her Bachelors of Arts in Sociology and a minor in Fine Art from the University of New Mexico, and has worked professionally as a photographer since 2005. She has shot over 100 weddings, 100 engagements, and has been featured internationally in print magazine and online blogs for her wedding photography. Her passion for photographing people and their stories stems all the way back to highschool, as she was a self-proclaimed 'yearbook girl'-- never in the stands, always on the floor capturing the action.

"At weddings, I focus on the relationships, and the energy of the room that I am in. I love nothing more than capturing the quick fleeting moments that happen between family and friends. Passionate hugs are my favorite. On a wedding day, those beautiful and priceless moments are abundant, and all around us. I care so much about my clients, so I try with all my heart to truly understand them, find those moments, and preserve their day. I'm a people photographer, and that's the most beautiful thing about weddings-- they bring us together."
